About Us
Ruth is a Drama Graduate from Manchester University and did a Post Graduate Diploma at Guildford School of Acting and Dance. Before she started PartyPieces she worked mostly in theatre-in-education with special needs, primary and middle school children throughout the U.K. She has taught drama, studied for an NVQ in Youth Work and started and led a youth club. She is the mother of three boys and lives on a farm.
Sarah is a Drama Graduate from Cardiff University and is currently studying for her MSc in Play Therapy. She is a trained swimming coach, a singer and is involved with Sure Start, working in the community with children and their families. She has been working with Ruth for a few years now and if it wasn't for her it would have been tricky to keep PartyPieces flourishing and growing while Ruth had her babies!
Costs
1hr themed show - £100
1hr 15mins - £115 This will include more games pitched to the children's age and ones where they are all involved. Children of all ages love parachute games.
2hr party with a break usually in the middle - £145 ( We would be working for about 1hr 45 mins, starting with games, party food in the middle and show at the end)
Cost includes nice but basic party bags for all shows. For numbers over 20, £1/head is added to the cost to cover extra party bags, sweeties and props the children may have made and can take home.
There is always a present for the birthday child included.
Sometimes, depending where you are, it may be necessary to charge something for travel.
